The Manifesto

Logan was kicked to the curb with his twin brother Ben
and abandoned at a young age.

He blames Ben for the incident
that led to the ousting.

Unfortunately Ben was never heard from again.
And i do not like to talk about the incident.

Logan (aka Matt at the time) and Ben were
rescued by a shelter in Milton.

Logan reports,

It was a fine-enough place, clean and warm.
But due to the behavior of the other animals
and the overcrowded conditions we had
to spend most of our time in jail-like cages.

Ben and I were sequestered in a large bird cage.
(Don't think the irony of that escapes me.)

Thankfully my gentle and fun-loving nature
and boyish good looks were recognized by an
inter-racial couple who came to the shelter one day.

At first the red-headed woman was attracted
to a tortise shell diva.
But the Diva did not like men so she was out
- or more accurately tossed
back into the cage where she belongs.

Then the older black gentleman was
smitten by the kitten.
But that baby was too shy and
scared to really impress this couple.
it's too bad, I'm sure the baby
would have done fine
but he just wasn't ready to be adopted.

So thankfully I was finally noticed
(good thing Ben was out of sight).
I wooed them with my playfulness and handsome charms.
And I was adopted!!!

I feel a little bad I never got to say goodbye to Ben -
but mostly Ijust wanted to say I told you so to him anyway.

Since then, I have lived in the cube
with the very attentive and
affectionate red head.
She lets me do anything I want and feeds me all
the best stuff. I am pampered when
I want and allowed free reign when I
want that too.

On occasion I get to see the black man.
And when my person goes on
trips I go to Cat Camp at his house.

I tend to think it is for remedial training
and fat-cat camp for his
beast. But I have a good time when I visit.

I live the good life now.
i couldn't be any happier.
