Cats Implicated & smeared

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080312/D8VC6FBO0.html

While I usually take human events in my stride and don't get overly excited, this story gets my back up.

Humans, you see, have a long history of blaming cats for their problems.

Once upon a time in a place called Europe, in a period known as the dark ages, the humans decided cats were evil and set about to exterminate felines AND their human companions.

The cat population of that crazy corner of the world plummeted.

Consequently, the RAT population soared.

Black death, aka the bubonic plague, ravaged Europe for generations as a result.

One would think European humans would think twice about implicating cats on such spurious and faulty data.

The research is flawed!

Cats of good sense the world over should influence the humans under their care to repudiate this smear upon Catdom.

Roaring Unamiously,
